THE HIGHWAY — When there's a cop on the road behind you when you're speeding, it almost certainly means trouble.
But what if a cop touches you on the road while you're speeding? A motorcyclist in Southern California found out.
As is perfectly legal in California*, the man is weaving in and out of traffic (aka lane splitting) at freeway speeds, but what isn't so legal is his speed of about 90 mph.
As he's cruising along, he feels a tap on his arm. This, at the very least, would be a disconcerting experience when you're alone on your motorcycle. When he turns his head, he sees a California Highway Patrol officer right at his elbow — extra disconcerting.
Cue the almost audible "gulp."
But instead of signaling for the man to pull over, the CHP motorcycle cop wags a "no-no, that's naughty" finger at the man and shoots away at even higher speeds than the speeder.
This leaves only one question: CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE?!
You don't have to because it's all on video. But it's the kind of story that makes you feel lucky and may make your friends question your truth-telling abilities.
