YONKERS, New York — There are lots of videos out there of humans helping to rescue animals. Sometimes tools are needed in rescues, such as ropes, when ice is involved; or lumber, when the animal needs to climb out of a hole.
But have you ever seen a car jack save the day? Check out this video:
That poor deer looked so uncomfortable. I love how dedicated the people were to finding a way to rescue it.
"There was a fawn caught in the fence. It looked like it had been there all day," the caption states. "My boyfriend and I pulled over. He used a car jack to pry the fence and release the fawn into the wild."
It seems many times that humans rescue animals, the creatures are so traumatized by the ordeal that you wonder if they might have a difficult time surviving. For example, it's not unusual to see a rescued deer stagger off as it struggles from injury or exhaustion.
But this deer had some real pep in its step. I'm no expert, but I predict that it's going to live a long, full life.
