Why just watch the clock, waiting to be fired. Nightside tech expert Gregg Stebben says the time is now to be a self-starter.
"Particularly because of the Internet it is so easy to start a business quickly and inexpensively. Who cares if you fail?" he said.
Because, he says, what you learn only makes you more marketable in your next job. Stebben says even selling stuff on eBay is a good lesson in e-commerce. There are also Web sites, like www.davessite.com that teach you for free how to start your own site.
