NEPHI — Troopers have identified a Millard County woman who died in a crash Monday morning near Nephi.

Taysia K. Fish, of Leamington, was driving a Hyundai Sonata east on state Route 132 when her vehicle lost control from the slushy conditions and spun into the westbound lane, the Department of Public Safety said.

A semitruck pulling two empty pneumatic trailers was driving west when the Sonata spun into its lane. The truck driver tried to avoid the Sonata by moving left but the two vehicles collided, knocking the Sonata off to the north side of the road, authorities said.

Fish was killed on impact. The semitruck driver was shaken up but uninjured, the Utah Department of Public Safety said.
