BUFFALO, N.Y. — Newly acquired center Ryan O'Reilly scored twice on Toronto's first two shots on net and added an empty-net goal in the Maple Leafs' 6-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres. O'Reilly was playing his third game in four nights since being traded by St. Louis, and scored 37 seconds apart in an opening period the Maple Leafs led 4-0 on goals scored in an 8:18 span. Ilya Samsonov finished with 29 saves. He stopped the first 22 shots he faced before allowing three goals in the final 15 minutes. Buffalo's Alex Tuch scored the 100th goal of his career.
