OGDEN — Police in Ogden were looking for a gunman in a shooting early Sunday that injured two people.

Police responded to reports of gunshots at 1:40 a.m. Sunday. Witnesses heard the shots coming from a road behind 25th Street called Electric Alley, Ogden police said. The area has multiple parking lots with access to bars.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two men with wounds that appeared to be from gunshots, police said. Both victims were hospitalized — one in serious condition. No other information was provided about the victims, except that they were expected to survive.

Ogden police said they believe that the shooting was an isolated incident, but was not random. Police believe the victims knew the gunman, who had still not been found late Sunday afternoon.
