THE SUBURBS — Just when you thought it was safe to walk down the street in your neighborhood, bears are once again showing us who is boss. This shocking footage comes from a residential security camera:
Here's what I think happened. The two bears have been adversaries for years, competing over everything from the tastiest berry bushes to the best roadkill.
To make matter worse, they're cousins. One of the bear comes from a well-to-do family that lives high up on the bench. The other bear definitely wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He's had to work for everything in life and resents the fact that his entitled relative just seems to breeze through life.
Things boiled over one day when both bears wanted to eat the same grasshopper. The first bear lashed out with its right paw, only to recoil in pain after the other bear dodged the strike and retaliated with a well-timed uppercut.
Suddenly, the bears' grandmother lumbered into the meadow and shouted at the troublemakers to "take it outside." So the two bears dutifully left the sanctity of the forest to settle their differences.
And that's how they ended up fighting at 238 Poplar Lane in the city of Monrovia.
