Mary Richards reporting Not everybody's happy about the recently passed tax reform. Educators say they hope they still get funding despite a tax cut.

In the reform legislators approved a tax cut of $78 million. The Utah Education Association says it's still worried about education funding, but Senator Dan Eastman says it will all come around. "It's the move in the right direction to modernize our system. And I think in the long run it'll benefit the economy, the state of Utah, and every citizen," he says.

The reform means in 2007 you can choose between the current system or a new flat tax system. Lawmakers also passed a bill allowing counties to raise sales taxes to fund roads, commuter rail, and light rail.
