1. 1 dead, 2 others critically injured in separate stabbing incidents in West Valley

One man is dead and two others are critically injured after two separate stabbings and a shooting Saturday night in West Valley, police said.

2. Woman dead after SWAT standoff in Riverdale

A woman is dead after a SWAT team was called to an incident in Riverdale on Friday evening, authorities say. When police arrived at the home, they learned that there was a domestic dispute where shots had been fired, but nobody was wounded, police said. Police eventually entered the home and found a woman dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

3. People celebrate life, lost loved ones at Celebration of Life Monument

Donor Connect, an organization that coordinates organ donations and helps get them to a recipient, marked the end of Donate Life Month with a celebration for donor's families at the Celebration of Life Monument by the Salt Lake City Library on Saturday.

4. Crews battling brush fire near Saltair report it is 100% contained

A brush fire burned west of the Saltair Marina on Saturday evening, causing smoke to be seen throughout the valley.

5. Man dies after crashing motorcycle in Iron County

A man riding his motorcycle died in an accident Saturday in Iron County. The 56-year-old man was eastbound on state Route 20 near Paragonah around 2:10 p.m., when he was unable to navigate a "sharp, downhill, left-hand corner" on the road, according to a police news release.

The Fontana, California, native was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the 151st overall pick, the eighth pick of the fifth round Saturday in Las Vegas.

3. SUU's Braxton Jones a fifth-round pick by Chicago Bears

The former Southern Utah standout who prepped at Murray High was selected with the 25th pick of the fifth round, No. 168 overall, by the Chicago Bears.

4. RSL outlasts LA Galaxy in 1-0 rivalry win

Real Salt Lake got its first win in over a month and kept its unbeaten streak at home with a 1-0 victory against rival LA Galaxy on Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium.

5. After nearly 3 years, BYU women's rugby breaks through for 'repeat' national title

Finally given their chance to compete, BYU made short work of the competition — including in Saturday's final, when the Cougars rolled to an 80-7 win over Virginia Tech in the Division I spring championship match at AVEVA Stadium in Houston.
