Paragonah, IRON COUNTY — A man riding his motorcycle died in an accident Saturday in Iron County.

The 56-year-old man was eastbound on state Route 20 near Paragonah around 2:10 p.m., when he was unable to navigate a "sharp, downhill, left-hand corner" on the road, according to a police news release.

The man left the road, was separated from the motorcycle and slid into the guard rail.

Police said he was wearing a helmet and died at the scene of the crash.

The man's identity has not been released.
