GRANTSVILLE — Police have released the name of the man who died Saturday morning in an industrial accident at U.S. Magnesium in Grantsville as 61-year-old Robert Self from Livermore, California.

An explosion occurred around 8:20 a.m. Saturday morning at 12819 N. Skull Valley Road, according to Tooele County Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Caldwell.

Self, a contractor, was working on a trailer-mounted boiler when the boiler exploded, the sheriff's office said Monday.

Tooele County Sheriff's Office and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the accident.
