SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake police continued Monday to investigative the shooting death of a 50-year-old woman over the weekend, but have released few details about it.

Anetupou Niualiku was shot and killed near 130 South and 800 West about 9:20 a.m. Sunday. Police received a 911 call notifying officers of a possible shooting. Niuakliku died at the scene, despite life-saving efforts.

Salt Lake police have not released any other information about the case, only saying that "through the preliminary investigation, it appears this is an isolated incident."

No arrests have been made and no suspect information has been released.
