EAST CARBON CITY, Carbon County — A man died Monday in a crash in Carbon County, troopers said.

About 7:30 a.m., the man, 48, was driving a Dodge Neon west on state Route 123 near East Carbon City when the car drifted off the right of the road, overcorrected to the left and then crossed the center line, the Utah Highway Patrol said in a statement.

The car then went off the south edge of the road and overturned.

The driver, who is from Price, was found deceased when officers arrived. His name has not yet been released.

"No indication of impairment was immediately apparent. The seat belt showed no signs of use," troopers said.
