THE FARM — Thanksgiving is past and most turkey leftovers are on their last leg, but that doesn't mean we're done with turkeys.
Because we at "Have You Seen This?" like to stay on theme as much as possible, we've brought you more turkey to feast upon. This won't fill your bellies, but it will fill your heart with a little bit of joy for at least 54 seconds today.
This featured video is fairly simple. A man is in a car next to a pen full of turkeys and he decides to gobble at them. If you know anything about turkeys, they will virtually always gobble back. So, of course, the whole flock gobbles back.
That alone is in and of itself funny because it's cartoonish and an odd stranger-than-fiction moment. First it doesn't seem possible that turkeys would respond every time, but they do, making it feel like a bit in a cartoon. Second, it's some of the most perfect comedic timing in the whole world, making every comedian insanely jealous, according to 100 percent of the zero comedians interviewed for this article.
But then there's the man's reaction to the gobble and response activity. And that, of course, is hysterical laughter. At one point, he can barely get his "gobbles" out because he's laughing too hard. He's even clutching a tissue throughout the video to wipe the tears of laughter from his face.
This video is several years old, but it's clear why it's making the rounds again. It's simply to keep the joy of turkeys — whether food or funny — in our hearts.
