ST. GEORGE — St. George police are searching for anyone who may have seen two vehicles just prior to a fatal crash on Friday, June 18.

The crash occurred at approximately 4:27 p.m. near the Sunset Corner Shopping Center at 1091 N. Bluff, St. George police said. The crash resulted in two fatalities and closed access to Bluff Street north of Sunset or south of the parkway for some time, St. George police said.

Investigators are looking for anyone who may have seen a blue or teal 2008 Acura MDX traveling south on state Route 18, or a light blue 2005 Toyota Camry, which would have been in the Sunset Corner area between 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

"Even if you didn't see anything out of the ordinary about the vehicles or their drivers, but saw them, we ask that you call Sgt. Bangerter at 435-627-4386," the department said in a statement.

Additional information, such as the identities of the victims, was not immediately available.
