ARIMO, Idaho — A Utah woman died Thursday after an ATV crash in Idaho, police said.

Chikay Cole, 67, and a passenger, both from Sandy, were riding an ATV in Bannock County east of Arimo around 4 p.m. when Chikay "failed to negotiate a turn," ejecting both riders from the ATV, according to Idaho State Police.

Cole died from her injuries, and the passenger was transported by air to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. Police say both were wearing helmets.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
