WEST JORDAN — A 35-year-old man is in critical condition after his motorcycle hit the back of a car near 8760 S. Redwood Road, police said Tuesday.
According to West Jordan police detective Scott List, at about noon., a car was turning left into a neighborhood and the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Redwood Road in the middle lane.
List said that witnesses reported seeing the motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed and weaving between traffic. The motorcycle hit the rear of the car turning left. The collision had enough momentum to spin the car around, said List.
The motorcyclist was transported to Intermountain Medical Center in critical condition, according to List.
The driver of the car reported no injuries, he added.
