PARK CITY — A Park City man accused of sexually assaulting two women while giving them massages has been arrested.

Merga Jeffrey Kennard, 34, was charged Tuesday in two separate cases in Summit County's 3rd District Court with a total of two counts of rape, and object rape, both first-degree felonies; and two counts of forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony. A no bail warrant was issued for his arrest.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office confirmed he was located and booked into jail Tuesday afternoon.

On March 31, Kennard "deliberately touched" a woman inappropriately who had gone to "an establishment to get a massage," according to charging documents. Kennard is also accused of making several comments about the woman's body.

The charging documents do not name the business.

On April 17, Kennard raped another woman who had also gone to the business to get a massage, according to a second set of charging documents.

While being sexually assaulted, the woman "began crying and said, 'This is not right,'" the charges state.
