OREM — The endangered missing advisory issued for 7-year-old Jocelyn Cortes early Tuesday was canceled on Wednesday night, Orem police said.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the child has been located.
Police posted on their Facebook page stating that Jocelyn was found safe and in good health. At the time of the post, police said that she was on her way back to Utah and wasn't in any danger. According to police, the investigation remains open but no more details will be released on the case.
When the advisory was issued, Jocelyn was last seen at Classic Skating in Orem at about 5 p.m. Monday, according to Orem police. She was last seen wearing black and pink leggings, glitter shoes, and a pink jacket with a leopard hood.
Police were looking for the girl's grandmother, 63-year-old Ivonne Cerda San Martin, and aunt, 24-year-old Paola Bayon. Police said Jocelyn left with San Martin and Bayon.
