AMERICAN FORK — A man recently convicted of exposing himself to a child has been arrested again after police say they identified a second victim.
Nathan Robert Fotheringham, 26, of American Fork, was arrested Monday for investigation of lewdness involving a child.
On Dec. 9, Fotheringham lured a 7-year-old boy over to his car he was driving, and when the boy looked in the window, Fotheringham had his pants pulled down, according to a police affidavit.
Fotheringham was charged with lewdness involving a child, a class A misdemeanor, and pleaded guilty on Feb. 10, according to court records.
Now, police believe Fotheringham is responsible for exposing himself to a 9-year-old girl about the same time as the first incident, according to an affidavit filed Monday. That incident happened in the same area as the first, and also involved Fotheringham luring a girl to his car so she would look in his window and see he was not wearing pants, the affidavit states.
Fotheringham was booked into the Utah County Jail on Monday.
According to court records, Fotheringham lives at the same residence as Gary Winston Fotheringham, 39, a convicted sex offender also facing charges of exposing himself to two women at a Kaysville gym in a separate case.
The next scheduled court hearings for Gary Fotheringham's two outstanding cases in Davis County, including his lewdness case, is May 6.
