NANA'S KITCHEN — One of the best parts about making cookies is eating the dough before you throw it into the oven. Have I eaten all the dough before and not had any cookies? Well, frankly that's a personal question and I'm a little offended you asked. Also, yes.
While I love eating the cookie dough, I'm not sure how much I enjoy eating just the butter. Or the brown sugar. Or the flour. But maybe I'm missing out, because Cade in this video sure seems to like it. Cade has an Instagram page where he cooks stuff. Well, he kind of helps cook stuff. It might sound boring, but it turns out Cade is just a little dude and his cooking skills are pretty suspect, but his snacking skills are legit and his hand speed is on another level.
In this video, Cade and his Nana are making cookies. At first, it seems like just a cute video of a little boy baking cookies with his grandma. She makes a comment about not eating the butter, and I didn't think much of it until Cade's hands started mimicking cobra strikes. The naked eye can barely track how quickly that little hand shoots into the bowl to grab anything it can to shove in his mouth.
Is butter delicious all on its own? According to Cade, it is.
What about flour right out of the bag? Absolutely.
Raw eggs, shell and all? A delicacy.
Nana is doing her best to keep up and keep the ingredients out of Cade's mouth, but it's really a fruitless endeavor. Cade's hands are too fast and his hunger too strong. Nana did persevere, however, and the cookies were made — and Cade seemed to think they were just as delicious as when each ingredient was on its own.
