(KSL News) Searchers in three Utah counties are looking for a Colorado Woman missing in a rugged area of eastern Utah.

Fifty-four-year-old Rose Backhaus was last seen checking out of a Moab motel on November 16th and hasn't been heard from since.

Yesterday, Emery County authorities found her SUV in Goblin Valley State Park.

Because no one knows where she may be, searches also are underway in Grand and San Juan counties.

Her family says Backhaus is an avid hiker who has hiked alone before, but they say it's not like her to not check in with them.
