(KSL News) -- Davis County is home to the state School Superintendent of the year.
Dr. W. Bryan Bowles received the honor from the Utah Public Education Coalition at a ceremony this morning in Sandy. Coalition officials cited Dr. Bowles' leadership during growth, and the creation of the Davis Reads program as the keys to his selection this year.
Bowles will compete in the National Superintendent of the Year competition in New Orleans next March.
