(KSL News) Passing motorists found an SUV burning in the Jordan River early this morning.
They were driving near 3800 South and 1000 West when they spotted billowing, dark smoke. They say the flames were reaching as high as 25 feet.
Emergency crews arrived soon after, but did not find the driver.
South Salt Lake police say the car was stolen but haven't determined who was responsible.
