(KSL News) Trolley Square is celebrating its 100th birthday.

Customers participated in a lot of fun activities at the shopping center today and got some special deals on food. Lemonade and popcorn sold at 1908 prices.

Trolley Square was originally built to serve Salt Lake's large trolley system, which operated until 1945. It was turned into a shopping center in 1972, and it's on the National Register of Historic Places.

It's currently undergoing a $60-million renovation.
