(KSL News) A portion of the Utah State Prison is in lockdown after one of the inmates was stabbed.
Corrections Department officials say four inmates got into an altercation around 3:45 p.m. At one point during the fight, a 19-year-old inmate was stabbed multiple times in the chest and leg. The prisoner was flown to the hospital. No one else was hurt.
Officials say that section of the prison will remain in lockdown throughout the weekend.
