(KSL News) Crews have worked throughout the night to rescue a stranded hiker on Mount Olympus.

Salt Lake County authorities say the 22-year-old man headed up the mountain to take some pictures yesterday afternoon and strayed from the trail. Somehow he fell about 10 feet and was unable to walk due to broken bones.

The man was able to call for help on his cell phone. The rough terrain made it difficult for crews to reach him.
