SANDY — A Salt Lake woman was arrested over the weekend after police say she chased down and rammed her fleeing fiance with her car several times.
Megan Brianne Camden, 32, was arrested for investigation of seven counts of aggravated assault, reckless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Saturday, Sandy police were dispatched to a “road rage incident” that was in progress. “Megan Camden was chasing her fiance in her vehicle, attempting to arrest him for a warrant she believed he had,” a police affidavit states.
Both Camden and her fiance “were traveling at a high rate of speed through a residential area” with “Megan opening her door while driving and leaning out of the car to yell at her fiance in the other vehicle,” the affidavit states.
Camden “rammed” the vehicle that the man and two other people were in three times, police say.
After Camden was stopped and arrested, she was searched and was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the affidavit.
