\CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Mar. delivery was off 1 cent at $5.5560 a bushel; Mar. corn fell 1.40 cents at $3.7960 a bushel; Mar. oats rose 5.40 cents at $3.03 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans lost 7.80 cents at 8.8540 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Feb. live cattle was up .05 cent at $1.2120 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle rose .87 cent at $1.3982 a pound; Apr. lean hogs gained 3.88 cents at .6748 a pound.
