SALT LAKE CITY — Tickets for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival are now on sale for everyone.
The festival runs from Jan. 23 to Feb. 2 in Park City, Salt Lake City and Sundance Mountain Resort. This year's event will feature 118 feature films from 27 countries.
Tickets for individual film screenings went on sale last week for Utah locals, but they are now on sale for everyone. They cost $25 each, with tickets for kids' screenings set at $10 each, according to the Sundance website.
Advance tickets can be purchased online or at the following festival box office locations:
- Park City main box office, 136 Heber Avenue
- Salt Lake City main box office, 602 S. 700 East (second floor of Trolley Square mall)
- Sundance Mountain Resort box office, North Fork, Provo Canyon You cannot pick up advance tickets at theaters; those must be picked up at a festival box office before the movie screening. Potential moviegoers also have the opportunity to use Sundance Fest’s eWaitlist feature.
People can check in two hours before the screening to be assigned a number on the eWaitlist. Those on the eWaitlist are instructed to arrive at the theater 30 minutes before the movie starts, and Sundance staffers will fill extra seats in theaters with people on the eWaitlist.
EWaitlist tickets cost $25 and are cash-only.
