SALT LAKE CITY — Authorities are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Eagle Mountain man.

Christopher Craig Zoellner, 36, was last heard from on Jan. 10 after sending a text message to a family member, according to a Monday news release from the Utah County Sheriff’s Office. Officials say Zoellner’s debit card was used Friday at a Maverik convenience store in Eagle Mountain, and then used at a different store in Riverton.

“(Zoellner’s) phone has been powered off so investigators are unable to track him through this method,” the news release says.

Zoellner may be driving a brown 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck, the news release says. He is known to frequent Five Mile Pass and Manning Canyon in Utah County, as well as Little Sahara Recreation Area in Juab County.

Anyone with information on Zoellner’s whereabouts is asked to call Central Utah 911 at 801-794-3970.
