SALT LAKE CITY — Utah State University police alerted the public Thursday to a student who had reportedly not been heard from since Nov. 7. The student later checked in with university police and is safe, USU Spokesman Tim Vitale said.
Christian Reyes Barajas, 19, is from the Blanding area left the USU Logan campus with no notice, school officials said Friday.
Police didn’t suspect foul play was involved and officials wanted to make sure he is OK, which they confirmed he was sometime on Friday.
