Woman dies in Park City mountain bike crash, police say

PARK CITY — A woman is dead after police say it appears she was involved in a mountain biking accident in Park City Monday night.

The 68-year-old woman, whose name was not released, was found injured about 7:30 p.m. by other mountain bike riders on Fox Tail Trail, according to Capt. Phil Kirk with Park City Police Department.

Police said the woman was wearing a helmet but didn't have further details about the accident. The cause of the woman’s death and details surrounding the crash are under investigation, Kirk said.
