MIDVALE — Police on Thursday morning located a man who had previously been reported missing.

Darrel "Lance" Owens, 55, was located and is safe, according to Unified Police Sgt. Melody Gray.

Police had previously asked for the public's help in locating Owens, who they said has schizophrenia and diabetes, and was without his medication.

Owens was last seen Tuesday around 3:00 p.m. at his group home at 663 E. Acoma Road, according to Unified Police Department. Police considered Owens endangered and missing.

This was not the first time Owens has been missing. He was reported missing and later found by police in July 2018.
