CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery lost 10.80 cents at $4.2540 a bushel; May corn was off 3.60 cents at $3.50 a bushel; July oats fell .40 cent at $2.7860 a bushel; while May soybeans declined 13.60 cents at 7.99 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Jun. live cattle was off 1.22 cents at $1.1140 a pound; May. feeder cattle fell 1.85 cents at $1.3610 a pound; May lean hogs was up .10 cent at .8312 a pound.
