OGDEN — Police are investigating after the frozen body of a woman was found in Ogden Tuesday morning, police said.

Temperatures reached the low teens overnight Monday in Ogden, according to the National Weather Service.

About 10 a.m., police were called to the 2500 Block of Jefferson Avenue, where the woman was found, Ogden Police Lt. Will Farr said.

Farr said she was in her 40s but her name was not immediately released. There was no indication of foul play, the lieutenant said, but the woman's cause of death is unknown.

Police are awaiting results from the medical examiner's office, he said.
