SALT LAKE CITY — A man was found dead early Sunday following a fire at a Salt Lake City apartment building, authorities said.
Fire crews responded to a report of a blaze at Beck Street Apartments, 1729 N. Beck St., about 8:30 a.m, said Salt Lake City Fire Department Capt. Adam Archuleta.
Jim Kavoukas, 51, was alone when the accidental fire occurred, according to Salt Lake police. He died in the blaze.
