PARIS (AP) — In the short headline of a story June 20, The Associated Press said that Europol found that homegrown jihadis carried out most extremist attacks in 2017. The headline should have made clear that the European law enforcement agency specified that most of the attacks in Europe done in the name of jihad that year — rather than all 2017 extremist attacks — involved homegrown perpetrators.
