OGDEN — Evacuations at the 2nd District Court in Ogden ended following an unsubstantiated bomb threat Thursday morning.

Ogden police and Weber County deputies received a call reporting the threat about 9:20 a.m. and followed protocol by evacuating and searching the building at 2525 Grant Ave., according to a tweet by the Ogden Police Department. The evacuations ended nearly three hours later about noon.

Grant Avenue was closed from 25th Street to 26th Street during the search but has since reopened. Court is proceeding as normal.

The source of the threat is still unknown. Detectives are tracking leads on the caller.
