SALT LAKE CITY — The FBI on Monday announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of an alleged drug trafficker who has been on the run for nearly seven years.
Noel Romero Herrera, 35, is wanted for his alleged involvement in a drug-trafficking organization in Montana from 2007 to 2010, according to a statement from the FBI. He is wanted for crimes mostly dealing with possessing and distributing cocaine, as well as aiding and abetting, the FBI stated.
Officials say Herrera is previously from Utah and still has ties to the state. He used to live in Murray, Midvale, Sandy and Salt Lake City, the FBI stated.
A federal arrest warrant was issued out of Billings, Montana, in February of 2011. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
