NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily on Tuesday:

Carnival Corp., up $1.53 to $68.13

The cruise line had a strong fourth quarter, thanks in part to higher ticket prices.

McDermott International Inc., down 90 cents to $6.69

The offshore drilling platform agreed to buy Chicago Bridge & Iron in an all-stock deal valued at $6 billion.

Tenet Healthcare Corp., up 29 cents to $15.03

The hospital chain Tenet Healthcare said it plans to sell its Conifer business and cut more costs.

Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc., up $6.95 to $121.38

The medical device company named former Medtronic executive Bryan Hanson as its new CEO.

Darden Restaurants Inc., up $6.15 to $96.69

The parent of Olive Garden raised its profit forecast after a stronger-than-expected second quarter.

Jack in the Box Inc., up $3.11 to $103.45

The company said it will sell its Qdoba Mexican food chain to Apollo Global Management for $305 million.

Cars.com Inc., up $1.34 to $29.23

Activist investment firm Starboard Value disclosed a 9.9 percent stake in the online auto marketplace.

Microsoft Corp., down 55 cents to $85.83

Technology companies slumped Tuesday and gave back some of their recent gains.
