SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City's biannual Comic Con attracted thousands of cosplayers to the Salt Palace Convention Center Friday, as fans let their nerd flag fly high.
Disney's "Mary Poppins" seemed to dominate the show as creative cosplayers paid homage to Comic Con's guest of honor: 91-year-old Dick van Dyke.
The rest of the conference-goers showed off their favorite characters — from Aquaman to Buzz Lightyear — with creative and elaborate costumes.
