(KSL News) A devoted cat-lover put away her pride for a day to raise awareness to the plight of feral and stray cats in the area and what residents can do to help.

Today just happens to be "Feral Cat Day," and the director of No More Homeless Pets in Utah dressed up in this snazzy orange cat suit and spent most of the day in a feral cat trap on the lawn of Salt Lake County Animal Services.
The animal services offices are celebrating all day by offering free winter cat shelters and food, accepting donations and featuring a children's art contest.
