(KSL News) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints dedicated its new Layton Welfare Services Center this evening.
The 40,000-square-foot facility, located at 930 W. Hillfield Rd., will house a Deseret Industries facility and multiple Church welfare services.

"Employment center, family services, distribution center, food storage, canning, [and] humanitarian center all in one," said Layton Utah LDS Stake President Kirk Bitton.
This is the first time a Church welfare complex has included all of these services in one location.
Bishop H. David Burton, presiding bishop of the Church, dedicated the building.
The Grand Opening will be held tomorrow through Saturday and the public is invited to attend.
