BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON — A 70-year-old hiker reported missing Sunday morning has been found safe, officials confirmed.
The man got separated from his group on the Donut Falls trail around 11:30 a.m. Sunday. His family members called police when they discovered he was missing.
The man was found in good condition around 5:45 p.m. in the Laurel Pines area of Big Cottonwood Canyon, according to Unified police.
