SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Mormon church says a missionary from Chile serving in Guatemala has died after coming in contact with a live electrical wire.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints spokesman Eric Hawkins identified the woman Sunday as 22-year-old Heidi Andrea Ortega Huber.

The death happened Saturday, despite resuscitation attempts by fellow missionaries and emergency crews.

The church said she was from the Santiago, Chile, area, and had been serving a mission based out of Guatemala City, Guatemala, since April 2016.
