PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Federal officials say passenger boardings increased about 21.5 percent at the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport between 2015 and 2016. The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports that the information is contained in a Federal Aviation Administration report presented Friday to the airport board.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Federal officials say the Jerome County Jail in south-central Idaho would be an ideal location to house immigration detainees and could eventually be used for immigration hearings. The Times-News reports in a story on Sunday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials in a paper obtained by the newspaper through a public records request also say the site could be expanded to take in more inmates.

MURPHY, Idaho (AP) — Law enforcement officers shot and killed a 48-year-old southwest Idaho man Saturday morning. Idaho State Police say Dennis W. Robinson of Owyhee County fired at Owyhee County Sheriff's deputies conducting a welfare check at his home at about 11:30 p.m. Friday.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A south-central Idaho sugar producing company says two workers have been flown to a hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, for burn treatment after a tank containing hot liquid overflowed. Amalgamated Sugar tells KMVT-TV that the workers sustained the injuries Friday morning at the company's plant in Twin Falls.
