(KSL News) One hundred bicyclists donned their helmets and jackets this weekend for a ride to remember those killed in collisions with cars.
The Josie Johnson Memorial Ride was started to remember Josie Johnson, who was hit and killed by a car in 2004.
Despite the sad overtone of the event, those who participated said it was a good day to raise awareness about the dangers of bicycling on the road and a chance to push lawmakers to pass laws to protect riders.
