SALT LAKE CITY — Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, will hold an electronic town hall meeting on health care reform Wednesday, July 12, at 6 p.m.
In response to the volume of requests, Lee will increase the limit on the number of people who can participate to 100,000, according to his office.
To receive a phone call at the time of the event, people may register online. Those who want to stream the meeting live on their computer or mobile device may go to lee.senate.gov/live.
Lee and other Republican senators balked at the health care proposal backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. They are negotiating for a conservative alternative as the Senate GOP struggles to replace the Affordable Care Act.
