ROOSEVELT — The Duschene County Sheriff's Office reports a Roosevelt couple is facing charges after searches of their home turned up a cache of stolen goods and memorabilia that they were allegedly selling on Facebook and Ebay.

Deputies say they also recovered a "baseball size" quantity of crystal methamphetamine near Travis Kirk Cook, 35, after he attempted to flee from the home when a search warrant was being executed on June 27. Investigators returned for a subsequent search on June 29, after they say they developed additional information about other stolen goods.

Danielle Shalae Jensen Cook, 29, who was in the Duchesne County Jail at the time the warrants were served, will also be facing charges related to the stolen property according to Duchesne County Sheriff's Sgt. Flint Williams.

Williams said investigators recovered bins of old beer steins, silverware, "Depression-era glass," a set of ornate salt and pepper shakers, several saddles and a trunk of World War II memorabilia, including a POW journal, a military uniform and a number of military citations.

"We didn't take anything from the house that we couldn't prove was stolen," Williams said. "During an interview Travis said he made four to eight grand a month selling stuff online."

Williams said the couple offered some of the stolen items for sale on eBay and on a public Facebook page they administered called Small Town Underground Antiques and Collectables [sic].

Travis Cook was charged in 8th District Court with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, a first-degree felony; two counts of theft by receiving stolen property, a third-degree felony; possession of vehicle parts without an identification number, a third-degree felony; possession of a controlled substance, a third-degree felony; possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, a class A misdemeanor; failure to stop at the command of law enforcement, a class A misdemeanor; possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, a class B misdemeanor.

Detectives have been able to contact the owners of some of the property they recovered.
